Who is Rotator Survey?

We are the leading company in Latin America specializing in survey software. It's our passion and our expertise, survey software is all we do! Since 2003, our journey has been focused, progressive, and unwavering. We began as two entrepreneurs, providing user-friendly solutions for capturing data from paper surveys (PAPI) for small local market research firms. In 2004, we were hired by P&G to support various studies across Latin America. As our clients' needs evolved, we expanded into online and offline surveys (CAWI and CAPI), competing with major players like SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Alchemer, and QuestionPro, all of them backed by billions in venture capital. Despite the hard competition, our humility, perseverance, and vision allowed us to create a unique value proposal and diversify our product portfolio. We now offer a user-friendly system for telephone surveys (CATI), for face-to-face surveys (CAPI), and other highly demanded methods in the market research industry. With 21 years of experience, we've developed a mature, robust, and reliable system used by thousands of people and organizations all over the world.



PAST

Creation of the "ROTATOR" prototype by Mr. Abraham Barrientos, which consisted of a self-built multidimensional database for management information analysis inspired by Oracle Express OLAP concepts. 01

1998

First client: MMI, Venezuelan pharmaceutical market research company, currently non-existent, Ricardo Blacksley, General Manager. Thank you ! 02

2000

Second client: Venezuelan Ministry of Science and Technology to analyze data for a study on the capabilities of the Venezuelan Oil sector. (Thank you!) 03

Change of product direction, due to market demand and the over-explosion of OLAP tools. Rotator makes a shift to specialize in the analysis of quantitative studies. 04

2002

Creation of the company "Rotator Software" and registration in the SENIAT of VENEZUELA under number J-306-76774-6. 05

Rental of a cubicle of 2 meters x 3 meters in the area of Plaza Venezuela, Caracas and hiring of a programmer. 06


Birth of the product "Rotator Study Modeler" to process surveys collected on paper. 07

Presentation of the Rotator Survey Platform to a dozen market research companies in Venezuela. 08

2004

Creation of the "ROTATOR DATA ENTRY" module to load data from surveys collected on paper. 09

Third client in Venezuela: Ars Publicidad (Thank you!) 10

2005

Fourth client: Procter and Gamble Corporation acquires several licenses of Rotator Survey to perform market research on paper in Colombia, Peru and Venezuela and thousands of requirements are raised and hundreds of improvements are made to the software. (Thank you!) 11

Expansion of the office to 90 square meters and hiring of 10 jobs. 12

2006

Development of the management control system for the Ministry of Infrastructure of Venezuela incorporating the Rotator Study Modeler and the Rotator OLAP Study Analyzer. 13

2007

Office move to "Parque Tecnologico Sartenejas" in Caracas, with capacity for 15 workstations, coffee area and meeting room. 14

2008

Creation of the Web site: RotatorSurvey.com and First international client: BDF Consultores de Republica Dominicana. 15

Signing of an alliance-donation with the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello of Caracas for the exchange and testing and tuning of the software. 16
