Rotator Survey Data Collection Supervisor

The Data Collection Supervisor module (The Supervisor) allows supervisors to check and validate the status of the DataEntry process and analyze the team work performance. Once the data gathering process has started and telephone operators have made some calls (CATI), or transcribers (PAPI) have just started with the DataEntry process, it is possible to check the progress of the overall process and detect problems just when they occur. Additionally to these benefits, this module allows you to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the team work.

How to supervise the Data Collection process?

Once the survey has been modeled (created) using the software component Rotator Surveys Modeler, and the surveys folder has been located on a Server directory, you can proceed to supervise the data loading process. To achieve this, execute the following steps:

  • 1. Double click on the survey (shown on the list) that you want monitor. Enter your Login and Password. If you do not have a Login and Password yet, please contact your administrator and ask him/her to create a new user for you with the role Supervisor.

  • 2. After logging into the system, a warning message will show up indicating that the data must be consolidated before continuing. A screen will show up and you will have to select the users you want to supervise (we recommend you to select all of them). Press OK to continue.

  • 3. Check the process management reports, both, consolidated and detailed, including Summary of calls (CATI). Also check the Efficiency and Effectiveness report, wich offers indicators of each interviewer performance. Likewise, check the Detail of calls report (CATI) that shows the status of each registry of the Participants Base and the status of its calls. These reports can be exported to Excel if desired.
Efficiency and Effectiveness of the team work

The Efficiency indicator measures the percentage of calls made per interviewer according to the aliquot that corresponds to each one proportionally. The Formula of this indicator is: Calls made / (Total Calls needed/ N of Interviewers). If the result exceeds 100%, you will see ++100%.

The Effectiveness indicator represents the relationship between the successful calls and the calls made, subtracting the cancelled ones.
