Rotator Survey OLAP Analyzer

"Rotator OLAP Analyzer" is an easy to use software tool that enables information analysis of external data, mainly collected through questionnaires, the data supported can be derived from ad-hoc surveys (one period wave) or from continuing surveys where the time dimension needs to be analyzed. The term OLAP, from Online Analytical Processing means that the software is able performs rotations of dimensions of the data in order to show different views of the same information to the user. Most OLAP systems, as Rotator, do not use flat tables to store their data, but a hyper cubic format, through which it is possible to rotate (cross) the information as you want, i.e., to build flexible reports and charts just in seconds without having to be concerned on how the data was stored but on the output you need. The name "Rotator" comes from the idea of "rotating" a cube of data in order to analyze its multiple dimensions, such as age, sex, city, class, etc.

Rotator OLAP Analyzer works synergistically with the software "Rotator Surveys Modeler", this application provides the base platform for the creation, modeling and containing of the study. Rotator OLAP Analyzer may also operate with external data imported from Microsoft Excel .

Requirements and output of a survey with Rotator:

Input: (What you should have before analyzing a survey)

  • A survey fully created with the Rotator Surveys Modeler® or
  • A survey created and processed externally (SPSS®, Excel®), but imported and compiled in the Rotator Surveys Modeler®

Output: (What benefits does the system provide)

  • Friendly crosstab tables and charts displaying nominal, ordinal, and scalar variables, with counts and percentages in multiple output formats. Includes basic descriptive statistics.
  • Automatic categorization of short text for easier quantitative analysis.
  • Options for statistical tests, including significant differences of proportions by columns.
  • Drill-down capability to trace data back to the original source (questionnaire).
  • Real-time grouping of response options using aggregates, formulas, and class intervals, among others.
  • Ability to analyze weighted samples.
  • Many more features.
Requirements for Analyzing Surveys with Rotator:
  • Intel Processor i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher.
  • 32 GB MB RAM or higher.
  • 300 MB of Hard Disk to install the application and additional space for the models being created (A common model completely loaded may require 100 MB).
